Now heres another one of those cards that I struggled for inspiration with. Maybe it was the picture but I just didn't seem able to decide what to do with it to make it look like an anniversary card. The brief I had was a golfer and a nice sunset, well think I managed that bit. I just cuttllebugged the top and bottom of the card and printed the greeting on the computer added a few hearts to try and make in more anniversary like.

Well its been a week I think since I last posted but I have made a couple of cards since then. I was asked to make a christening card and thought I would make a baby shoe instead of a card as I haven't made one of these for a long time now. Then I decided I would make a card as well in case my customer didn't like the shoe, as it happens she is having both the shoe and card. The image on the card is from bear fairies at pc crafter then just added gems and bits and bobs to snazz it up a bit.

This was a card request that I found extremely easy to do. The recipient is fond of a column called "remember when" in our local newspaper so thought this card was apt. It's from a range called "remember when" from La Pashe. Have a look at these decoupage images as they make outstanding mens cards and we all know how difficult they can be.
I have also just completed another laptop card, I haven't put the picture on here as it's just the same as the other one I did. This one scares me slightly as it is made for another card maker to give to her son, I don't like to make cards for other card makers in case they are the worlds best crafter......ever!!

Ok I know that this is not one of my cards but thought I would put it on anyway, it a water colour picture done by my 12 year old daughter. We were at parents evening last night and her art teacher gave it to us she thought it was outstanding, to be honest her whole report was outstanding, a star pupil. I wish my water colouring was this good though.
These are some cards that a friend asked me to make for the hospice she works at. Their summer fete is on Saturday so they are trying to get plenty cards together to sell. The style is not my choice, this is the kind of card the hospice make and that sells there, so they have all taken a similar format. I have made others but dont want to bore you with them all.......lol.

Meet George, isn't he fab. You can download him at charmed cards and crafts. This was a very quick card I made for a friend, it took me about 10 minutes. George is precoloured so that saved some time, the sentiment was printed on the computer and punched out and the papers are from my stash but I can't remember what make they are. I am pleased to say the recipient loved it.

Yeah!!! I have finally made another card. If you can't tell what it is (I really hope you can) then its a laptop. Obvisously this is the inside of the card, the outside is just plain black. The only brief I was given was computers so do hope that this will be ok. Took me an age to cut all the little letters out and as long as you dont look too closely you wont notice they may be a bit wibbley wobbley

Award
I have been sent this award by Elaine, Gail, Wendy and Pauline for which I would like to say thank you so much. The rules of the award are:-
1. The winner can put the logo on her blog.
2. Link the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs of the girls you've nominated
Now for my chosen blogs, the only problem here is that I think quite a few people have already received this award so may just be duplicating it, so here goes.
Agnes stamp cards - one site that I use for inspiration.
Crafters Kitchen - lovely cards, Jak obviously has a lot of patience.
Stamp Owls Studio - one of the first blogs I ever discovered with fab cards.
Love to scrap a card - great cards for inspiration even if I can't understand what she's written.
A work in progress - although not a blog for cards, Vicki gives away the most wonderful papers and elements.
Pretty pressings - truely inspirational cards.
Crafts by Louly - great cards as always. Go and check out Dottie and George.
I could go on and on forever as there are some fantastic blogs out there.
