Blog candy!!!!

Alison over at crafting up a storm has some blog candy to give away. She has reached over 10,000 hits, so well done Alison. Get yourself over to her blog and you can see why she has so many hits.
This was a card made for my mum. She loves this image and had requested it on her birthday card. I used papers from my stash and added a couple of gems and corners. I left it at that as to be honest on this occasion it seemed that less was more.

I love this image and thought it would be a good way of trying to get my mojo back. It is a ready designed 3d card from daisie company. It was quick to make and the recipient loved it so thats all that matters really.

Monday 22 September 2008

I have hardly made any cards lately I just dont seem to have had the time nor the inclination so haven't updated my blog for a few weeks now.
However, here is a card I was asked to make. I used a pc crafter image and backing paper from my stash. I printed the image out twice and used 3d gloss on the second, cut out and mounted to give a sort of 3d appearance. The sentiment was done on my computer and added a couple of embellishements. I followed a layout desinged by Linda on the cuddly buddly website.

Thursday 4 September 2008

Well its been a while since I have made any cards but as my daughter went back to school yesterday I had a bit of time to make some.
This is a download from cuddly buddly, its a print and cut decoupage all nice and easy to do or so I thought. I actually found it a bit fiddly to cut out so don't think I will be making too many of these. I will have to find different ways of using the main image on its own I think. You can find the download here
