I was challenged by the lovely Sonia to make a christmas card purely from Pink Petticoat (I think she is trying to help me find my mojo) and then to pass the challenge on. Anyway here it is, it's not what I set out to make but is what I ended up with. The backing papers are from simply christmas and the image is a partridge in a pear tree. The sentiment was done on the puter and the bottom corner looked too bare so filled that up with something too. I pass this challenge onto Elaine as I know that she is a great PP fan.

Blog Candy

Paul from crafty blogocks is offering some lovely blog candy for reaching 15,000 hits. Click here and go have a look at Paul's site he makes some lovely cards.
This is a card I have made for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. This what they had to say.

This week's sketch is from Sue. Use the sketch anyway you like as long as we can still recognise it! No theme or technique again this week so lets see what you create!

I do think that I should have made this on a square card, not sure why I didn't, however, its done now and I am not changing it.

Here's 3 nice quick and simple cards I made yesterday. Used Dottie christmas images and a sentiment made on the puter. Added a bit of christmas sparkle which probably doesn't show up on the photos. You can find Dottie here

Blog candy.

The lovely Edna is nealy one year old now and she has some fab candy up for grabs. Here's what Edna had to say.

I'll be one on the 17th October so to celebrate I am offering some blog candy to one lucky person. I have thought about it and thought about it and decided that instead of me picking out bits and pieces, it would be great for the winner to choose their own stash. Now I know you can't run amok in my craft room so I'm offering a gift voucher to be used in Joanna Sheen's web shop to the value of £20.00.

If you have never vistited Edna's site before get yourself over there as she makes some fantastic cards, well worth a look.

Friday 10 October 2008

Here's a card I made for a challenge. I quite enjoyed making this as I have never made a halloween card before. I used a mixture of papers from summertime designs and sugar snap scraps the little ghost was a freebie image I picked up a long time ago and can't remember where from. Embellished with a greeting done on the puter and halloween confetti, which I knew would come in useful one day....lol.

I just thought I would share with you all my lovely handmade birthday cards I received. All these cards came from my friends on the cuddly buddly forum. It was lovely to open all these cards and see the different designs and they are also a great source of inspiration.

Blog header

Oooh look I have a new blog header, isn't it fab. I am not great with psp and was having a bit of a fight to get it to do what I wanted so in stepped a friend saving me from chucking the computer out of the window...lol. So I have to say many thanks Elaine for coming to my rescue, I think it looks great.

Friday 3 October 2008

Was asked to make these cards which are nice and simple to do. Only discovered that they dont fit into an envelope so a bit of a design flaw there I think. I managed to make a couple of quick "envelopes" tied with ribbon but think I need to see if I can change the design of the bottle.
